Delete your account.
You can delete your The Spot account whenever you want. It is permanent: once it is done, nothing brings it back.
Three ways to do it
- In The Spot app: open Profile, tap Delete my account, type the email on your account and confirm.
- On this page: sign in below, type the email on your account and tap Delete my account.
- No access to the app or your password? Email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm by email when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email, phone number and your sign-in (password, Google or Apple).
- Your saved cards, removed from our payment processor.
- Your Good Points and rewards.
- Push notifications to your phone and your app settings.
- Upcoming visits are cancelled. A prepaid visit is refunded in full. A prepaid visit inside the cancellation window has to happen (or be cancelled by the shop) before the account can be deleted.
What stays
Records of past visits and payments that The Spot must keep for its books and taxes. They stay without your name, email or phone, so they no longer point at you.
You get one confirmation email, and you can create a new account any time.
